Applied Acoustics Systems Audio Units Tassman 3 Sound Synthesis Studio and Lounge Lizard
Reaffirming its commitment to seamless integration with the most advanced recording environments in the industry, Applied Acoustics Systems is pleased to announce the release of the Audio Units version of the Tassman 3 Sound Synthesis Studio and Lounge Lizard EP-2 Electric Piano.
"Now with Audio Units plug-in format support, we have now completed the full integration of all our products into the Mac OS X environment," said Philippe Dérogis, CTO of Applied Acoustics Systems. "With these releases, we are very happy to welcome back Digital Performer and Logic users." The Audio Units version of Tassman 3 and Lounge Lizard EP-2 will be available as a free upgrade to all registered users from the Applied Acoustics Systems' website.
Based on AAS' award winning physical modeling technology, the Tassman is an entirely modular sound design solution, offering a near infinite range of creative possibilities for realistic emulation of acoustic instruments, analog and FM synthesizers, and unique hybrid constructions simply not possible by any other means of synthesis. Including 50 instruments and over 1000 presets, the Tassman is sure to be a powerful addition to even the most demanding professional studio environment, and a source of inspiration from project to project.
Lounge Lizard EP-2 is an unprecedented recreation of the classic electric piano sound, and a "uniquely adaptable" solution for the creation of "living, breathing" custom tones. The Tassman 3 and Lounge Lizard EP-2 are available now for Mac OS X and Windows systems at a suggested retail price of US$ 499 and US$ 249 respectively.
