Dreamworld Studios install TL Audio VTC Recording and Mixing of Live Music

Jens Schroeder's Dreamworld Studios - located in a secluded 65 acre rural setting in the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Park in Wales - is the latest UK facility to take delivery of a TL Audio VTC console. The 1500 sq.ft. studio, specialising in the recording and mixing of live music, has long employed TL Audio products including the EQ-1 Dual Valve Equaliser, Ivory 5021 Compressor and M-3 Tubetracker mixer. But the addition of the 24 channel VTC has really moved the studio up a gear: "We feel that the VTC is the ultimate companion to our Soundscape 32 hard disk recording system" Schroeder commented. "As well the warmth and clarity that the VTC adds to our digital signals, the powerful EQ section is excellent in catering for the varied requirements of our clients, which range from choirs to death-metal bands. We never submix digitally but always put everything individually through the VTC - it adds so much."
