Emagic Logic Platinum 5.2 test EVD6 vintage software clavinet free
Users of Logic Platinum 5.2 can test the EVD6, Emagic's vintage software clavinet, for free.
The EVD6 is the first virtual Clavinet that flawlessly recreates the sound of the original Hohner D6. It does this through component modeling, an approach which, when coupled with several enhancements, ensures that the sound creation and modulation possibilities far exceed those of the original stringed instrument. For example, in contrast to the original D6, the virtual EVD6 can be played with the filter section turned off, which allows the recreation of other stringed instruments such as guitars. The pickup position can also be edited for even more variation, while the vintage effects - which can also be used as a separate effect plug-in within Logic 5 - have to be heard to be believed!
Test it yourself: Logic Platinum 5.2 for Mac and Windows is available as free download for all owners of Logic Platinum 5. With Logic Platinum 5.2 the complete version of EVD6 can be tested for free for a 4 week period.
