PreSonus Studio and Pro Audio Electronics: 10 years
PreSonus Audio Electronics is celebrating its 10-year anniversary. Founded on January 1, 1995 by Jim Odom and Brian Smith in Baton Rouge Louisiana, PreSonus has built a reputation of providing innovative, award-winning professional-quality audio products at affordable prices.
"Time flies when you're having fun," States PreSonus President Jim Odom.PreSonus opened its doors offering the award-winning DCP8, a digitally controlled 8-channel analog compressor/limiter for which PreSonus holds a patent for digital control over analog circuitry. Other award-winning products during the past decade from PreSonus include the ACP88, BlueTube, BlueMax, DigiMax, TubePre and Eureka.
"Time flies when you're having fun," States Odom. "I feel that PreSonus has accomplished much, but we still have much more to accomplish. The next decade presents a very exciting future for PreSonus. Product ideas are endless and technology has made music creation and production extremely exciting. It's my goal that PreSonus continues to bridle cutting-edge technology and turn it into innovative tools for the creation of music throughout the next ten years and beyond."
