Sequencers: The Sheet Music EditorThis next image shows a sheet music editor/sequencer. The sheet music editor is mostly used by composers who are used to writing music in the standard sheet music notation.In most situations there is no real advantage when you want to use this type of editor or sequencer. Sheet music is usually just a guide for the musician. The musician has to play what the composer intended or play it with their own signature style. There are however a few situations when the sheet music sequencer is useful. For example when you have to put a piece of sheet music to MIDI you can simply copy the notes that you see on the piece of sheet music. Another useful function of this editor is that you create sheet music while you are writing midi at the same moment. This is useful when you also need the sheet music.
