Sound and Audio Types: Other wave types, Saw Tooth
The sine is not the only type of sound wave possible. In fact it is just one of the many types of waves and possible variations. This next example shows a completely different wave type, the saw tooth wave.
Take a look at the next wave and listen to the include mp3 file of this sound. Note how the basic properties of sound stay the same. It has a volume and a frequency. It just looks a little different and of course the sound is different.
