Speedsoft/MAZ release Virtual Sampler version 2.65The new option "cached sample loading" allows to load and create banks larger than the available RAM, by dynamically unloading unused Preset sounds from RAM and reloading them on first use. Additionally to drag'n'dropping samples from the internal disc-browser it's now possible to create new presets or new splits by drag'n'dropping samples from any external file manager right into the Preset grid or to the splits-bar, optionally with automatic pitch detection by frequency analysis. In addition to previewing samples the new version now supports previewing complete instruments and soundbanks through onscreen keyboard or external MIDI keyboard. Smooth keyzone crossfades can be created by the new per-split keyboard scaling, which has been integrated into VSampler's templates, too.
