Wizoo W2 WizooVerb Reverb VST, AU and RTAS
Wizoo announced the debut of W2 from their new WizooVerb series of high-end reverbs.
W2 is a true stereo plug reverb catering to ultimate demands.
Like the big surround brother W5 (following in June), W2 allows creating room emulations either based on impulse responses or by a proprietary algorithm – and even allows for arbitrary combination of both technologies. In a nutshell: Unbeatable realism and creative options at the same time, in one reverb.
Especially the so-called High Definition Impulse Responses (HDIR) raise the benchmark of reverb quality to a new level. This new generation of impulse responses marks a new era in terms of quality and transparency as well as accuracy of the spatial reproduction – all the way through the production chain.
The result has nothing to do with the odd “adding reverb”, HDIR creates the vivid impression of a signal source placed in a real room.
As if that weren’t already impressive, existing impulse responses can be loaded and – thanks to a proprietary algorithm – optimized, resulting in a signifantly better reproduction of the original room.
W2 will be available by the end of April at 249,- $ MSRP.
